AI visibility platform or agency: which one should I pay for?

You can check it yourself, buy a platform that tracks it, or pay a team to do the work. They are four different things, and the first thing to watch for is a promise. Nobody can promise you will be named by ChatGPT or Google. Here is what each option actually gives you.

PromisesNone"Track your visibility""Rank in 90 days" or a guaranteeNone. Method over promises. A promise on AI visibility is the red flag

The red flag is a promise

The engines change their answers day to day. Nobody controls what ChatGPT says tomorrow. So anyone who guarantees you will show up is either picking questions you already win, or selling a dashboard with a markup. What can be promised is the method: real buyer questions, every result page saved, the work done, and the same test run again so you see exactly what moved.

How to decide

Check it yourself first. It is free and takes five minutes: here is how. Buy the platform if you already show up and you have people who will act on the dashboard every week.

Pay for the work if you do not show up yet. Software can tell you that you are losing a search. It cannot build the page that wins it.

Software can tell you that you are losing a search query. Someone still has to build what gets you named, then prove it moved.

The fast version

  • Nobody can promise AI visibility. A promise is the red flag.
  • A platform tracks. It does not fix.
  • Pick a partner who uses buyer led questions, not questions you would win.
  • Ask for saved proof pages, not a score.
  • Ask for the same test again after the work. That is the only proof that counts.

Common questions

Can anyone guarantee AI visibility?
No. The engines change their answers day to day and nobody controls them. What can be guaranteed is the method: real buyer questions, saved receipts, the work done, and the same test rerun to show what moved.

What is an AI visibility score?
A number a platform gives you for how often you show up in a set of prompts. It depends on which prompts were picked and who picked them. A count of real buyer questions with the result pages saved is harder to argue with.

Can I do this myself?
You can check a few questions by hand, signed out, and save the pages. Doing it for hundreds of questions, then building the fixes, is the work.

How long until I show up?
It depends on how much demand there is for your questions and who holds the answers now. We test first, then tell you which gaps you can win fastest.
